Our Partner in Madison, WI is seeking multiple Salesforce Architects to join their Enterprise Platform team in a contract to hire role. This position is open to 100% remote workers, but you must be located in the US. Ideally, one person will be an overall Salesforce SME, the other will focus on the Marketing Cloud module.
What You’ll Do
30% Independently perform expert-level Salesforce Technology analysis and coordination in translating business requirements into technical solutions, present options, evaluate and recommend solutions. Drive out unperceived business needs, leverage existing solutions (across, publicly available, vendor packages, etc.) where appropriate. Identify and communicate the global impact of interrelated activities. Develop and oversee the implementation of approved project plans and activities. Track overall project progress and report status and any issues to management and project team members. Proactively identify, communicate and drive process, system and business improvement ideas to IT or business.
30% With a focus on Salesforce Technologies, coordinate development of multiple concurrent business systems solutions from conceptualization through stabilization using various computer platforms. Provide leadership, analysis and training to professional staff in project management, planning, estimating, reporting, scheduling, quality assurance and workflow direction on projects of any size. Provide constructive feedback to individual team members and their respective manager regarding performance on projects and support work.
10% Gather Salesforce & other system Technology requirements, faciltiate and document business vision, align vision and business goals to technology roadmap with the assistance of architects, test, coordinate implementation, document operational processes and ensure Salesforce team maintains high quality business systems solutions on various computer platforms, adhering to established methodology and practices, and in accordance with project plans.
10% Develop and maintain a high degree of client-specific knowledge and associated business systems knowledge commensurate with work experience. Educate others, collaborate and effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, team members, IT Infrastructure and clients to influence solution delivery, applications architecture and business direction.
10% Continually enhance and share knowledge in leadership, facilitating and setting business direction, and analysis skills. Continually enhance knowledge around Salesforce solution offerings ensuring that they align with business needs and fit into Architecture. Acquire, effectively apply and train others in new skills as driven by business need and/or Salesforce technology advancements. Develop and maintain an expert-level understanding of industry trends and proactively work as appropriate with decision-makers to drive change within and across IT organizational units.
10% Promptly and professionally assume ownership and respond to customer requests. Perform and direct others in root cause analysis, impact analysis, problem determination and problem resolution support. Collaborate with appropriate business and IT staff throughout the problem resolution process.
What You’ll Bring
*BS in MIS or CS or equivalent trade-off in related education and related professional work experience.
*10+ years’ work experience in IT with the most recent 36 month’s work experience as a Senior Business System Consultant or equivalent role.
*5+ years of experience directly related to Salesforce solutions
*5+ years of experience in at least 4 of the following: Facilitation and analysis around defining business needs, Object Oriented development, Project leadership and coordination, Problem Resolution, IT Support of Vendor Package within CMG architecture
*Demonstrated expert knowledge of application analysis and leadership concepts in a multi-platform computing environment, including n-tier development, object oriented design, etc
*Demonstrated Leadership skills and ability to influence a variety of audience.
*Ability to navigate ambiguity. *Demonstrated breadth of knowledge of information technology concepts and deep expertise in leadership and coordination in more than one business system area.
*Demonstrated expertise in business application, information and/or technical solutions that meet business needs.
*Demonstrated good judgment and reliability.
*Demonstrated expertise in analysis and leadership with the ability to teach others.
